About the Private Health Insurance Program

The Private Health Insurance Scheme is a program that contributors pay specified premiums for the health plan they have chosen. It is tailored to provide employees and their dependants, individuals, members of groups, associations and their families with open, qualitative and cost-effective healthcare from our HMO and network providers.

MAAYCARE PLAN

Mode Registration

It is a health Insurance program that is taken up and paid for at the discretion of willing individuals, members of groups, family or employers on behalf of employee in an organisation. The program is financed from contributions made by interested individuals.

Mode of Registration

Enrolle makes payment whicih can be by cash, cheques, or bank transfers for the HMO. Receipts of payments will be issues immediately.

Enrolle is registered at any of our offices. A receipt of registration is generated and given to the enrollee.

A sms confirming payments and registration details will be sent to enrollees not late than 48 hours after registration. Enrollee can call, where a sms is not received within 48 hours. 

Enrollee would be not be able to access care until after the one month waiting period within which the enrollees registration will be concluded witht the I.D card prepared. Enrollee will be not be able to use the insurance to access care relating with surgeries until 3 months.

A network of reliable and standard clinics, hospitals, laboraties, pharmacies located nationwide ensures that members have access to quality healhcare whenever they maybe located.  Healthcare services will be provided through a three level of service arrangement. These are primary, secondary and tertiary level services. 

Primary Healthcare Providers

These refer to the entry point and point of first contact of individuals with the healthcare providers. They serve as the gatekeepers to the scheme

Secondary Healthcare Providers

These refer to the entry point and point of first contact of individuals with the healthcare providers. They serve as the gatekeepers to the scheme. They provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.

Tertiary Healthcare Services

These consist of highly specialized services based on referral from the scondary care level through the HMOs
